Work on creative projects, pageants, and workshops for the Hudson River Pageant: an ecological performance art project to restore the Hudson River and address climate change in New York City. Project includes:

• Hudson River Pageant (September – May) & (January-May)
• Art & Ecology Workshops for children (March – May)
• Puppet & Costume Workshops for teens and adults (March – May)
• Earthcelebrations.com website project (on-going)

ARTS/ EVENTS COORDINATION/ COMMUNITY ORGANIZING/ COSTUME & PUPPET DESIGN/ WORKSHOP ASSISTANT/ PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO GRAPHIC / WEB DESIGN

NEEDED

Students of theater, arts, environmental studies, arts education, event and community organizing, costume, fashion, sculpture, puppetry, graphic design, public policy, urban planning, new media, photography, video, and internet.

SKILLS NEEDED

Public outreach, public relations, event coordination, phone calling, computer knowledge, internet experience, administrative, creative arts skills, graphic design, and interest in environmental issues and the arts.

THEATRICAL PAGEANTS: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Artists, musicians, performers, dancers, production assistants, construction, puppeteers, costume designers, photographers, and videographers.
