TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE HUDSON RIVER & ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE IN NEW YORK CITY – FREE
Earth Celebrations Puppet & Costume Workshops March 3 – May 19th, for teens & adults create the spectacular costumes, masks, and giant puppets for the Hudson River Pageant, inspired by the diverse marine species of the Hudson River. Workshops culminate in Earth Celebrations’ Hudson River Pageant, on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 (raindate: Sunday May 23rd).

- Create Spectacular Costume and Puppets for Hudson River Pageant
- Wednesdays 6-9pm: Costume Workshops with artists Michele Brody
- Saturdays 12-4pm: Puppet Workshops with artist Lucrecia Novoa
- At the Courtyard Gallery, The World Financial Center

A, C, J, M, Z, 2, 3, 4 or 5 to Fulton Street/Broadway-Nassau
Exit onto Fulton Street and walk west to Church St.; turn right and walk to Vesey St.; turn left and continue across West St. to the WFC.
E to World Trade Center
Exit onto Church Street and walk north to Vesey St.; turn left and continue across West St. to the WFC.R or W to City Hall
Exit onto Broadway and walk south to Vesey St.; turn right and continue to the WFC.PATH to World Trade Center
Exit onto Vesey St.; turn left and walk across West St. to the WFC.Here is how to get to the Courtyard Gallery of the World Financial Center. There are two entrances – one from Vesey Street and one from the River side – Marina side.
If you walk on Vesey Street, you will pass the American Express Building and then there is an entrance to Shopping and Restaurants – World Financial Center, which is a food court atrium. Walk straight through and next to Starbucks, take the escalator up to the 2nd floor. Turn left and you will see the Courtyard Gallery across the atrium in front of you – go around the balcony to the Courtyard Gallery.
If you are coming from the River / Marina side, the Starbucks and the escalator to go to the 2nd floor will be on your left once you enter the food court atrium.
